My mother died recently and it was the first close family funeral that I’d had to organise. Jayne at Hodges helped us all from when we first made contact. She was understanding, empathetic and efficient. I would recommend Hodges and the service they provided in what were the most difficult of circumstances.

From the moment we first met Jayne we knew Dad was in safe hands. Their warmth, compassion and guidance Jayne gave, carried our family through one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Every detail was handled with such care and respect, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We were particularly touched by the many thoughtful gestures along the way, which brought great comfort to our family during an overwhelming time.

The funeral was beautiful and exactly what Dad would have wanted. We are deeply grateful to Jayne, Matthew and the whole W Hodges team for helping us honour our Dads life with such dignity, kindness and care.

I used W Hodges for my Dad’s funeral and they were exceptional. Jayne was caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable from the start. For such a difficult time she made it all feel easy to deal with. Her suggestions on venue and music and celebrant were perfect making the day feel very uplifting for such a sad event and the photo tribute made it so special. Ian and the team were so caring and kind on the day and made sure everything ran like clockwork. The celebrant Paul McMichael was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and caring team.

My husband passed away at the end of last year and my friend has advised me to get in touch with Hodges Sevenoaks, our local Funeral Directors. They have been so compassionate, kind and professional from the beginning to end. I really felt like I had my family round through the whole process. We couldn't have asked for a better team to support us to help organise our sons celebration of life. From the very start Jayne explained the entire process with care and compassion and was always available to talk when needed, Chris was also dilligent and professional whenever we spoke with him. On the day of our sons funeral, Laura and the team were amazing, respectful and acted with love towards our entire family and friends.
